Aurora Patrizi
Aurora Patrizi’s research focuses on synthesizing and characterizing magnetic and polymeric nanoparticles for use in lateral flow assays to detect tumor biomarkers, especially those associated with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).
She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in quantum technology and nanoscience at the Scuola Normale Superiore.
Previously, she was a research fellow at the CNR Institute of Biological Systems, where she worked on formulating liposomes and polymeric nanoparticles to deliver antimicrobial peptides against ESKAPE bacteria.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2021 and her Master of Science in Organic Chemistry in 2023, both from La Sapienza University in Rome.
