Postdoctoral position

🚨 We are hiring – Postdoctoral position in Nanotechnology & Leukemia Research (Pisa, Italy)

We are looking for a highly motivated researcher to join our team within an AIRC-funded project focused on the development of innovative nanotechnology-based strategies targeting acute leukemia.

📍 Location: Pisa, Italy

🔬 Position focus
The project aims to design and characterize novel nanoformulations for targeted therapeutic delivery in acute leukemia.

🧪 Required expertise
We are seeking candidates with proven experience in:

• Synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles (preferably lipid-based or polymeric systems)
• Development and optimization of protocols for nanoparticle production
• Drug loading and encapsulation efficiency assessment

🎓 Eligibility

• PhD is preferred but not mandatory
• Candidates with ≥3 years of hands-on laboratory experience and/or relevant publications will be considered

📅 Contract

• Initial 1-year contract, renewable up to 2 additional years
