Postdoc Researcher

Joint Postdoc Researcher between NEST lab for nanoScience and nanotechnology of Scuola Normale Superiore and Fondazione Pisana per la Scienza involved in the research project FPS grant “Hybrid nanosensors for in vivo detection of circulating tumor-specific biomarkers” for innovative strategies of diagnostics of glioblastoma based on nanobiotechnologies solutions.
He previously carried out a 4-year research period abroad at the University of Oslo with a European Marie-Curie research fellowship and at the Biorobotics Institute of the Scuola Sant’Anna in Pisa and at Italian Institute of Technologies (IIT).

He graduated in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine. He obtained a second bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Physics. He is Biotechnology Scientist, Nanomedicine researcher and Biologist. He has broad scientific interest in Nanotechnology, Regenerative medicine, Tissue Engineering, Molecular Medicine and Biology.

He has obtained his PhD in Biotechnologies for human health at University of Piemonte Orientale (Italy) with a project for the biocompatibility of iron-oxide nanoparticles and application of nanomedicine for anticancer therapies. His research interests are related to synthesis, biological and physicochemical characterization of nanoparticles, development of new solutions of targeted nanomedicine and nanotherapeutics for cancer, tissue engineering, bioengineering and design of biomaterials and regenerative medicine applications.
